FAQs

Due to the nature of our business, we get asked all sorts of questions! Which is great, as we understand there can be lots of questions to ask. Now, a lot of the questions and answers will be done whilst driving.

 

But below are some of the most frequently asked questions we receive on a daily basis, so before getting in touch with us please take a look below to see if one of your questions are there!

  • What areas do you cover?
    Dartford, Crayford, Bexley, Bexleyheath, Erith, Belvedere, Abbeywood, Thamesmead, Plumstead, Welling and surrounding areas
  • How do I book my lessons?
    All bookings for your lessons will be done only by phone call, email, text message, social media or now through the contact page on our website. Please remember to leave your contact details so we can get in touch with you asap.
  • What happens if I can't attend my lesson on the day?
    There is a strict 36 hour cancellation period on all bookings. If you fail to let us know within this time frame, and cannot make it to the lesson on the day then you may lose your time slot all together. If something has come up on the day of the lesson which means you cannot no longer do your lesson, then please contact us immediately and we will either rearrange to another date or you will miss your slot completely.
  • Can I pay next week for my lesson today?
    No, all lessons need to be paid in full and in advance, otherwise they can be paid before the lesson begins. We do not offer payment plans or pay in installments.
  • Do you require payment upfront for a batch of lessons?
    Yes we do, we will charge you an 'x' amount to be paid in full if you would like to book a block of lessons. This needs to be paid before any lessons begin.
  • How do I pay for my lessons?
    Cash or bank transfer only.
  • Are you fully certified and insured?
    Yes we are, if you would like to see any documentation regarding this before booking with us then please feel free to ask.
  • Will you go through all of the neccessary maneuvers to help me pass my test?
    Of course! We will go over absolutely everything for you, to make sure you receive the best training and advice for when you go to do your test.
  • Can you help me book my theory and test?
    Yes we can.
  • Can you help me prepare for my theory and test?
    Of course! The driving lessons are not only about you driving.. They are also there to teach you and prep you for all of your theory and practical tests. We will go over everything you need to know during your lessons with us.
  • What car will I drive on my test?
    The only car you will be able to use on your test will be the car you learn in, which will be your instructors car.
  • Can you pick me up at any location for my lesson? Or do I have to meet you somewhere?
    You will be picked up at your location, if you are from an area where we do not cover then will will pick you up from a train station within the areas we do cover. We will go over this for you when we chat to you about the process before booking with us.
  • What happens if I fail my theory or test?
    Then you will need to re-book this immediately, we can help you with this. Remember, practice makes perfect!
  • What happens if I accidently crash during my lesson?
    Hopefully this won't happen as our instructors are very skilled and will help you avoid any potential situations like this, but we have insurance in the unlikely event that you do crash. With dual-control cars, we will have pedals on our side too. So we can take over control of the car in the instance you panic and put us and the car in danger of crashing.
  • Can I bring someone with me on my lessons?
    Not during COVID-19, but you can if agreed with instructor in non covid times.
  • What happens if I don't turn up on the day of my lesson?
    There is a 36 hour cancellation period, you will be charged if you dont show up.
  • Do you offer discounts if I was to book in a batch of courses at once?
    Yes we do, please let us know how many lessons you would like to book with us and we will let you know how much it would be including a discount.
  • What are your working times? Are you open on the weekends?
    We are open from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week.
  • I have recently been tested positive for COVID-19, when can I carry my lessons on again?"
    You will need to wait 2 weeks in self isolation if you are tested positive, you will then need to get another test to receive a negative outcome after the 2 weeks is up. Providing you have a negative test result then we can continue on with your lessons.
  • What happens if I start feeling ill after or during my lessons due to COVID-19 related symptoms?
    Immediately let your instructor know and get a test immediately.
  • I forgot to bring my mask, do you have any I can use?"
    We will always ensure that we carry disposable face masks in our cars, so in the case that you have forgotton one then we should have one for you to use and dispose of afterwards. But please always remember to bring one.
  • What happens if your company gets temporarily closed due to COVID-19, and I have booked my theory/test on the days you are self isolating?"
    We will simply get this re-booked for you.
